Camera/Microphone isn't working on video chat
Double-check
- Here are a few things to check before you proceed:
- Check your internet connection to make sure it’s works
- Make sure your camera and microphone aren’t off in the video call
- Make sure nothing is blocking the camera lens
- Try unplugging your headphones to see if the computer's internal microphone works
- Check your headphones on another device to see if the microphone is working
Update your browser
- Check to see if your browser needs to be updated

Check permissions on your browser
- Most of the time when your camera and/or microphone isn’t working is because of your browser settings not allowing “permission.” For a browser to access your camera and/or microphone for a new website, it should ask for permission to access those functions on your computer.

Clear your cache and cookies
- It's possible that this is caused by an old mic/cam permissions cookie, or possibly because of another application that's taking priority access. Try clearing your cache and cookies for your entire browser and then restarting your computer.
