What are the match rules for Vanta's iRacing league?

1.1 Match Procedure
- Tournament Teams
- A “team” will consist of one (1) Player. Multiple teams from each eligible institution will be allowed to participate in the tournament.
- Set Length
- Time Limit: 1 hour
- Practice Length: 20 minutes
- Qualify Length: 20 minutes
- Race Length: 20 minutes
2.1 Game Rules - All
- All races will be completed in the Vanta Esports iRacing League on the iRacing platform. You can find it here by searching Leagues > Vanta iRacing League > Apply.
- Car:
- Global Mazda MX-5 Cup
- Custom paint jobs are allowed.
- Point System: US Open Wheel
- Note: The first two weeks of preseason will be open practice only - these races will not be scored.
- Max number of drivers: 46
- Fast Repairs: Unlimited
- Qualifying Conduct Scrutiny: Permissive for Rookie, Lenient for Class D and up
- Qualifying Race Format: Open
- Starting Type: Standing
- Restart Type: Single-file Back
- Green / White / Checkered: 1
- Full Course Cautions: Yes
- Wave Arounds: Yes
- Damage: Yes
- Disputes: Any and all disputes will be reported via the iRacing platform, however, we also are requiring reaching out to support@vanta.gg when there is an issue as well.
- All disputes will not be considered viable if they are not accompanied by a video or screenshots to help prove your claim.
- If your driver receives 3 incident penalties, they will be removed from the race. An incident penalty is given after 10 incidents, so there is up to 30 incidents allowed before removal is completed.
3.1 Reporting
- There will be no need to report scores to the Vanta platform. The scores will live in iRacing and will be moved to the Vanta website by Vanta staff.
