What are the match rules for Gran Turismo 7?

GRAN TOURISMO 7 RULES

Tournament Teams
- A “team” will consist of 1 Player. Multiple teams from each eligible institution will be allowed to participate in the tournament.
Set Length
- All tournament sets will be time trials, to be executed asynchronously for each week of competition during the regular season.

Game Settings:
- Game Lobby Setup: Time trials can be selected from the World Circuits menu by selecting a circuit track and choosing “Time Trial” from the bottom submenu.
  - Select “World Map”
  - Select “World Circuits”
  - Select “Choose the Region”
  - Select “Choose the Circuit”
  - Then select “Time Trial”
Game Mode: Time Trial
Circuit: Circuits are listed below - please be sure to keep up with the ruleset so you can keep up with the appropriate circuit for the week. Select the circuit that was communicated for each time trial each week.
Car selection: Any available Gr.3 car.
Team Size: 1

- Week 1 (Pre-Season): Tokyo Expressway - Central Clockwise
- Week 2 (Pre-Season): Tsukuba Circuit - Full Course
- Week 3: Suzuka Circuit - Full Course
- Week 4: Deep Forest Raceway - Full Course
- Week 5: Autodrome Lago Maggiore - Full Course
- Week 6: Alsace - Village
- Week 7: Sardegna Road - Layout A
- Week 8: Brands Hatch - Grand Prix Circuit
- Week 9: High Speed Ring - Full Course
- Week 10: Goodwood Motor Circuit - Full Course
- Week 11: Broad Bean Raceway - Full Course
- Week 12: Tokyo Expressway - Central Clockwise

Score Reporting Format: Each player’s recorded best time will be submitted, along with a screenshot of the reported time and the car used.
Screenshot: The screenshot must show the time being submitted and the circuit that the time trial took place on. Failure to submit a screenshot of the reported score may result in your reported time being removed.
Competition for Gran Turismo 7 begins every Monday - coaches have until the following Friday to submit screenshots. This is a hard deadline - any screenshots submitted outside of that time window will not be validated
- Screenshots need to be submitted on the Vanta Platform when submitting your time.
- Please review our screenshot submission guide for proper formatting. Screenshots not submitted in the correct format will be invalidated.
The following points will then be added by the Vanta Ops Team for rankings:
- 1st Place: 21 Points
- 2nd Place: 18 Points
- 3rd Place: 15 Points
- 4th Place: 12 Points
- 5th Place: 10 Points
- 6th-10th Place: 9 Points
- 11th-20th Place: 8 Points
- 21st-30th Place: 7 Points
- 31st+ Place: 5 Points
